Excellent shop, top quality instruments and equipment. Just purchased a new USA Fender Pro Precision at Internet prices.
Visited to buy a guitar with my daughter. Very friendly and informative staff and lots of choice. Lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Huge selection of guitars, sheet music and other instruments, many of which can be picked up and played. Very friendly staff, and free coffee if you want it.
Friendly staff, always there to help with advice. Bought some very good quality equipment from here, first and second-hand.
We have a free car park, with plenty of space for loading. If driving from the north (Oswestry, Wrexham) or the east (Shrewsbury, Telford) via Welshpool, then avoid the bypass and enter Newtown at the first roundabout. Mid Wales Music Centre is then a short drive, to the left of the road, just after Morrisons.
Driving from the south (Llandrindod, Brecon) or the west (Machynlleth, Aberystwyth) via the bypass, enter Newtown at the Kerry Road roundabout (railway station symbol on signpost), follow the road down and turn right at the crossroads with traffic lights. We are then a short drive, to the right of the road.
We are a ten minute walk from Newtown's train station. You can find a walking map here.
